  • To cover the Operating System so it’s not seen from the outside of the window, please add “Back Shield for Shades” as a line item on the order form. We add a 6” long piece of blackout lining across the top of the back of the shade to cover the system.

  • Safe-T-Shade Ribs and J-Hooks with the Rollease Acmeda EasySpring Plus make this system 100% Cordless.
  • Minimum 2 1/2” Return, Minimum Width 27” (see the chart near the bottom of the page for “Safe Zone Shade Sizes”).

  • Standard Shade construction with Rings and Cord, with Ring Locks standard (Ladder Shroud available upon request).
  • Minimum 2 1/2” Return, Minimum Width 27” (See the Chart on page 13 “Safe Zone Shade Sizes”).
  • The ring is added to keep the shade clean when raising and lowering. If there is a center row, the ring is placed in the center. If you don’t have a center row, the ring will be placed on one of the rows closest to the center.

  • We suggest using with Ribbed Romans only because the first row of rings on both sides is set in 3”.
  • Two ways to mount— with Velcro on the front or with a Spline that inserts into the top of the Headrail. MYL standard is Spline mounted.

  • Calculating maximum sizes for cordless shades is not an exact science. This chart is our best estimate for a normal drapery weight fabric and a standard lining. If measurements are outside our Safe Zone please contact us at MYL.
  • COM Fabric Shades – [email protected]

  • Larger shades can be made, but you run the risk of the spring not being able to handle the weight or length.
  • The minimum width of 27” is not negotiable due to the size of the spring.
  • Caution: Blackout lining, interlining, and upholstery weight fabrics will reduce the effectiveness of the spring.
