Kirsch has answered with the new Hollis™ Traverse Rod, a 1″ profile that gives you traversing functionality without making the hardware a major part of the design.
Available to order September 1, 2026, Hollis comes in eight Designer Metals™ finishes with six finial options and can be specified for hand, baton, or motorized operation.
Which Traverse Rod Is Right for Your Project?
Both Hollis and Estate offer traversing functionality, but each brings something different to a project.
Hollis may be the better fit when you’re working with a tighter space, want a smaller-scale profile, or need your traverse and stationary rods to have a consistent look.
Estate may be the better choice when you want the hardware to have more presence, with 1⅜” and 2″ profiles and more material options, including metal, wood, and wrought iron.
